TourRoute

Project Description

 

​        TourRoute is an android-based application, which provides guide to people. The first release of the project just includes Ankara, then, we can develop it by adding new cities. The application will show touristic places in a city, and user can search or choose one of them to be able to get detailed information such as history, ticket prices, opening and closing time about there. User also can reach sound recording and route for touristic places. Route is divided into two categories like public transportation and private car. User can also see the general information about history, historical places and daily guide about cities when sliding the page. Also there are information about the nearest pharmacy, ATM, and gas stationaccording to user’s location.

​        Daily guide provides several options to user. One of them is to create daily travel plan for user. According to user’s location, it gives nearest touristic places that user can visitincluding its route and time. The other option that daily guide provide is based on user’s choices. It means user can select places that want to see and the daily guide organizes them according to user’s location.

​         In addition to those, there is different information in user profile. User profile includes pictures, routes, favorites, and personal information. User can post pictures from touristic places to share with other users and they can add blog post. Also, user can add favorite route to the profile and if user is in the same route with any friends, the notification will be sent both of them.
